Big news about the coming Winter! I promise there are no “Game of Thrones” spoilers!!
I just read that Accuweather Meteorologists and the Farmer’s Almanac are both describing this 2017-2018 Winter to be a brutal one! New York City and Boston are both estimated to have at least 6 additional inches above normal this year! And this means lower temperatures as well!
- January 20-23
- February 4-7
- February 16-19
- March 1-3
While this will be good for the Ski Resorts in the Northeast, I’m sure not everyone is going to love all the shoveling! Not to mention the cost of heating bills, all the sweaters, salt on your cars…and snow days with the kids! I am sure a “White Christmas” is appealing when you haven’t had one in a while…but maybe next year, right?
I know that people still remember Superstorm Sandy and have been saying, “If we get one more bad winter, we’re moving to Florida!”
Well, I guess it is a good thing you’re reading this on a Florida Realtor’s website… we only worry about Sunny Days and Warm Temperatures. Here in Palm Beach County, our winter average temperatures look more like this:
These temperatures are a lot better for enjoying the Beach, our outdoor festivals, Dining Al Fresco, watching Florida Wildlife, getting a tan, walking through our nature parks and so much more!
Florida in the Winter is the BEST! You don’t have to schlep any sweaters! Every day is gorgeous, sunny and has a great sea breeze.
You can just put your twinkle lights on your Palm Trees and catch Santa in shorts, right??
